By accessing or using the Splitkar application, website, or services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Splitkar provides a platform to help users track shared expenses, calculate balances, and manage group payments. We act as an intermediary for informational and facilitation purposes, tracking balances between you and other users.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use Splitkar only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

• You must provide accurate and up-to-date personal and payment information.
• You must not use the Service to facilitate illegal transactions, money laundering, or fraud.
• You are solely responsible for settling your actual debts with other users, whether via our integrated wallet or external methods.

4. Free Service Guarantee

Splitkar is currently offered as a completely free service. There are no premium subscriptions, monthly fees, or hidden charges for using our core expense splitting and smart settlement features. We believe in making financial tracking accessible to everyone in Pakistan.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

We respect your freedom to manage your expenses, but we require all users to maintain a respectful environment. You agree not to upload, post, or transmit any content (such as group names or profile pictures) that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

6. Financial Transactions & Wallet

Splitkar may offer digital wallet functionalities, allowing you to top up, transfer, and withdraw funds in PKR. By using these features:

• You acknowledge that Splitkar relies on third-party payment gateways (like JazzCash). We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by these third parties.
• Withdrawal requests are subject to review and processing times of 1-3 business days.
• We reserve the right to freeze accounts suspected of fraudulent activity pending investigation.

7. Account Termination

You may stop using our Service and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Splitkar also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Splitkar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our platform or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
